A World Without God
Unless you are totally out of touch with what has been happening all around the world and especially in the US regarding a global meltdown, you are probably concerned about what lies ahead. The economists and futurists are not painting a very nice picture for sure. The events we are experiencing did not evolve over night; they have been coming for a long time and some people knew so. Most people who live a relatively comfortable life could care less about whatever is going on around them so long as it does not affect them. Many are glued to their televisions watching their favorite shows, drinking and eating in a comfortable house or apartment, receiving a paycheck every week, have medicine and doctors, cars to drive and so on. If they run out of bread or milk, they simply run down to the supermarket and get more. It is so easy for us. BUT, what if all this comes to a sudden halt? What if you either cannot go outside to get what you need and even if you can, there is nothing to get? Empty stores and malls, closed restaurants and perhaps banks too. Could this be our future? Many of the analysts are predicting serious problems in the future resulting from an economic meltdown. What can we do? Those who are not prepared for whatever is around the corner will place a burden on those who have or are preparing. Some people have been stocking up on food, water and other necessities for some time. Most I dare say are not making such preparations believing that this whole thing will blow over or else they don't believe anything is wrong. Once our way of life gets disturbed or thrown off track, we humans become anxious and that anxiousness can turn in many different directions to include a mob mentality. We are a narcissistic people, self-centered and in general care only about our needs. Our Country has shoved God so far out of her picture that He is almost non-existent except for Sundays in churches. Families are continuing to break down and great efforts are being excerted to redefine families. Pornography is rampant, sports are a god, video games and music are teaching our young how to murder, rape, and cause chaos. Our schools are in horrible shape with poor education, disciplinary problems and even crime. It seems our social order is way off balance and there is no apparent relief in sight. The Government cannot do it all for us; it is not designed to do so. We have individual responsibilities and accountabilities. Everyone screams about their rights but few, if any, speak of their responsibilities. We are a Nation of loners on crowded streets and in the marketplace - chatting on cell phones, running here and there without any serious direction and totally ignoring the God Who made us in His image and likeness. We have got to get our collective act together and return to God.
Get and stay in the state of grace. Be totally loyal to and united with the Holy Father. Read, study and pass on the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Dedicate and consecrate yourself and you loved ones to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Have their pictures in your home or apartment. Say the Rosary every day, more often if you can. Say the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy at 3 PM daily, more often if you can. Visit the Most Blessed Sacrament often. Go to Confession and receive Our Lord in Holy Communion at Mass. Pray the Saint Michael prayer. Pray the Chaplet of the Seven Sorrows (Dolors) of Our Lady. Pray the Chaplet of Saint Michael the Archangel. Have Sacramentals around the home, holy water, blessed salt, rosaries, scapulars, statues and holy pictures. Have blessed candles. Pray daily for the holy souls in Purgatory, especially your departed family, friends and loved ones. They can help you but not themselves. Have Masses said often for yourself and your loved ones. Enroll in perpetual Masses. Be generous and kind to the poor especially the homeless - hand them a pair of gloves and knitted hat to keep them warm, a bag of Mc Donald's sandwiches, a few dollars - pray about it.
"Nothing that is artificial in a way that disrupts what God intended will be allowed to stand. Heed this too: the politics of denial will be struck as with a plague. The smallest of what lives is precious in My sight. The angels have their instruction from east to west, and now a timetable has been set in motion."
Can you feel it? Can you feel the clouds all about us, gathering like a fog?
"The world will not end but change."
Your era is ending. Soon the world will not be the world you know.
"There is going to be a major disruption in a region of the world that will affect everyone. The world is now seriously out of conformance with the Will of God and what He created and intended. There are those who would reconfigure the very creatures He has formed, and who meddle with the texture of life. For this reason, the Lord will allow a huge reorientation. If not for the action of Heaven, what God has created on earth will soon be damaged beyond recovery. A very dramatic effect already is in progress as regards the support structures of what man calls nature. Such cannot be allowed to take the final realization of total realignment when it comes to the very way elements and life forces interact. The event to come will surprise everyone who has offered a prognostication, and will show even recalcitrant scientists, though not all, that there is a fundamental alarm in Heaven over their arrogant and wayward course. Nothing that is artificial in a way that disrupts what God intended will be allowed to stand.
Oh Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you.
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.

The world and in particular, the United States have painted themselves into a corner. It is unlikely, although possible still through prayer and repentance, that the situations will improve. Babies continue to be murdered daily, pornography is rampant and now the largest most profitable business in the US, and the advent of a growing number calling for approval of so-called 'same-sex' marriages to name a few, are nails in the coffin of what was once a great Nation. You can disagree; it is your right. But many are those who see and read the signs of our times...they are all around us. Weather, environment, social, financial, terroristic and other factors loom over us. We but put out one fire when another starts soemwhere. We are terribly out of balance and many want to know why. Politicians come across as the saviors of us and our Country. Currently, brick by brick, we are being taxed, shoved out of work, having our homes taken away, and forced to pay high prices for normal goods and services necessary for daily life. Greed has taken on a momentum the likes of which we have never before experienced. There are two classes on the horizon - the rich and the poor. Soon to be gone, and deliberately, are the middle class. Almost everything we consume is produced outside of our Country and often, it enters our soil contaminated as in foods. Never in our history have we had to import the majority of our food. We raised and grew our own. States traded their produce with one another and we shared the bounty of each other. Foods were fresh and without contamination. Now, there are more food recalls than ever in our history. We are fast becoming totally dependent on sources outside of ourselves for daily support. This is a dangerous condition since other countries too depend on imports. The ones with the dollars will get the goods and we are running out of dollars although we print it almost daily. Its value according to many economists is almost nill. One day, we shall awaken to find we have nothing but paper with a picture of some president on it and a number. Other that the value of the paper, it will carry no other meaning or value. What then? Impossible you say? Wait. It is on the way folks.
Our once great Nation is fast unraveling. It began with a rip in the moral fabric that once formed the basis of all that we stood for. Now, piece by piece, our rights have outweighed our responsibilities and common sense. Filth is not only permitted to be taught in our schools under the guise of understanding human sexuality (especially homosexuality) in all its forms as totally acceptable it has made its way into the family which is sorely cracking at the seams. We are redefining things that were once considered wrong and proclaiming them as good and in the social interest.
Things that were sins, offensive, filthy or at the very least, in bad taste, have become normalized while the good has been proclaimed as being against social progress. God has been forced out of our lives especially in the public forum although the Ten Commandments and other 'religious' symbols still adorn our buildings in the Nation's capitol. They will be removed one day as the American flag is lowered for the final time to be replaced with the American Union Flag or some other global, new world order emblem. Think not? Think again.
Mankind has entered into the final battle between good and evil whether or not we wish to admit it. Evil seems to be winning but there are those who do not recognize evil under its many disguises so it is happening with relative ease. I and many others believe that only God can save us since we have gotten to the point where we cannot or will not do so on our own. His methods may be quite severe although He is a most loving and merciful God. He is also a Just God so whatever it takes, He will do. His interest is in our salvation which is eternal. Greed and wealth will fall one day and perhaps soon. We will awaken one day, a day which perhaps begins like all others, and quickly discover that life as we once knew it is gone - changed. Our era will have drawn to an end.
Prayer remains the one thing we can all do to lessen what may be in store for us. Chastisements will come but we simply do not know when nor how severe. Many believe as do I that we are experiencing chastisements already in various forms. But they are not getting the attention of the masses. The Church is suffering as she is being persecuted more and more daily and not just from without. Many in the pews and ecclesiastical ranks sadly are wounding Christ in His Mystical Body with their arrogance, disobedience and defiance. Catholicin-name-only colleges come readily to mind but there are but a small part of the wounding. Worse than their actions are the atrocities and abominations that take place within the confines of the churches at what is supposed to be Holy Mass. The profanation of the Most Holy Eucharist is above all the most serious of the matters. Denial of the Real Presence stands at the forefront.
So we continue to spiral downward. Our hope is in the Lord Who made us, Heaven and Earth. Staying very close to Our Lady, Saint Joseph and Saint Michael the Archangel are critical especially for our spiritual safety. Using sacramentals and having private devotions are likewise important, especially the Rosary and Holy Water/Blessed Salt. Wearing a scapular and Miraculous Medal, Saint Benedict Crucifix or other sacramental is greatly encouraged. Remember though, these are not 'lucky charms' - they are sacramentals and it is our faith in cooperation with the blessing upon them that has the correct spiritual effect.
As things worsen, the necessity of remaining faithful to Our Catholic faith and especially the Holy Father no matter what will dominate. Remain always, always in the state of grace and let nothing lead you away from your faith. Remember that Our Lord warned, 'In the latter times many will come in my Name' and many will claim to be the Christ. Many will they be who say, "He is over there", He is here or there...do not go. False Christs are all about us and many in key positions. Pray to the Holy Spirit for the gift of discernment so that you do not fall into some trap. Many clergy are wolves in sheeps clothing unfortunately. Discern through prayer and the Catechism of the Catholic Church what you are told or hear. Do not accept blindly those things which you see or hear if they cause you some concern. The old adage that if something feels wrong or smells wrong, it probably is wrong. Your conscience will warn you so long as it is in concert with the Divine. Keep it clear and keep it clean and do not let it become polluted by the world nor anyone in the world regardless of their human position.
