Four of the top Catholic Colleges faithful to the Holy Father and the Church Magisterium. Remember when selecting a Catholic College, just because it has some of the outer wrappings of Catholicism doesn't mean the contents of the package are Catholic. When in doubt or if you have questions, contact the Cardinal Neuman Society and see of they approve of the college you're considering. Don't waste money on what you believe is a Catholic education; know before you 'buy.'

Never before in American Church history has there been such a blatant disregard on the part of clerics and others for the teachings of the Magisterium. There are so-called 'pro-choice' Priests, Nuns and others who ride the politically correct third rail. There are those who defy openly church teaching on issues of abortion, homosexuality, stem cell research and other criticial issues. God will be their Judge.

Politicians claiming to be Catholic while fostering and promoting non-Catholic ideas to the masses overtly or covertly are likewise living a lie as to their faith. One simply cannot be a part-time Catholic picking and choosing which doctrines, dogmas and promulgations they will follow and which they will disregard. It simply doesn't mix.

What to do about these renegade Catholics...

For starters, the politicians can be voted out of office. All have term limits and even though the Catholic vote dropped the ball in the last election, there is a future election coming if God does not intervene in the meantime. Vote them out of office...it is that simple.

As to these colleges like Notre Dame and Georgetown as well as others who teach against the Church and host gay rights, women's liberation lesbian groups and pro-choice politicians, stop funding them. Do not give in the annual appeals, stop the alumni donations and in short, cut off the funds. While some support them anyway, a serious cut from true Catholics in funding is bound to have a definite impact on their operations. We are bound to do so for to do otherwise supports, through tacit consent, their agendas of ilk.

The same goes for parishes and priests or dioceses who refuse to take a stand against these grave sins. Cut off the donations/collections but don't just not give. Donate to another worthwhile charity like EWTN, the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal who feed, clothe and house the homeless and thereby follow Christ's command to do so.

Give to the Little Sisters of the Poor in your community or send donations to the Missionaries of the Poor - Father Richard Ho Lung in Jamaica. Quit supporting the Bishops Conference, quit supporting the very people who go against all that is Catholic and until you do, quit complaining. Do something. Cut off the dollars and you will see the results.
