Most Blessed Sacrament
There is no greater treasure in Heaven or on Earth than the Most Blessed Sacrament. Christ is truly and substantially present to us in the Eucharist. He is here Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity just as He was when He walked the Earth. This is the same Jesus Who was born of the Virgin Mary, turned water into wine, made the lepers clean, multiplied the loaves and fishes feeding over 5000 men (not counting women and children), walked on the water, and raised Jarius' daughter, the woman from Naim's son, and His dear friend Lazarus from the dead. This is the same Jesus hidden under the species of bread and wine. This is the same Jesus Who is the Divine Mercy and the same Jesus Who one day will come again to judge the living and the dead. Alleluia.

There is no substitute for personally visiting a chapel or church and adoring the Most Blessed Sacrament. Many people do this while others, for a variety of reasons do not. Some are confined to their homes or a hospital. Others have schedules that preclude daily visits. The reasons are personal to each of us.
Thanks to the good Pink Sisters in Philadelphia, anyone can visit with Our Lord in 'person' via the internet. The Sisters have installed a webcam in their chapel. One need only click the link LIVE ADORATION above and instantly be in the Presence of Our Eucharistic Lord. You can visit as long as you wish anytime of the day or night.
What a gift, what a blessing this is for us. Our Lord waits to see us, hear from us and just be Present with us. For myself, I take great comfort in this honor. Before I go to bed at night, I open this link leaving Our Lord on my screen all night as I sleep. He is great Company. In the morning and sometimes throughout the day, I light a little red votive light and just adore Him. Since I am up at all hours of the night sometimes, it is very comforting to know that He is there, waiting for me, anxious to see me and me Him as well.
I highly recommend you take advantage of this link often if not permanently. Whether you are at work, school or traveling, no matter where you are, He is there for you. I always remember what Father George Kosicki, CSB says when one visits the Blessed Sacrament. The Lord is not interested so much in our words, certain prayers and so on although they are nice. He simply wishes us to be present with the One Who is Present. Sit there and look at Him and let Him look back at you. You will be so amazed and so richly blessed by these visits.
